Veezu Expands Opportunities for Local Children with Donation to Rotherham Titans Community Foundation

Veezu is delighted to announce a £1,000 donation to the Rotherham Titans Community Foundation, in support of their vital summer camp initiative.

This programme, part of the government-backed Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) initiative, is designed to support children and families during the holidays, particularly those in need. It provides enriching activities, nutritious meals, and a unique opportunity for children to engage with professional rugby players from the Rotherham Titans.

Linked to the government's free school meals scheme, the HAF programme ensures that any child receiving these meals is entitled to a free place at the camp. However, many families who don't qualify for free school meals but still struggle to afford holiday activities often miss out. Thanks to Veezu's donation, the Rotherham Titans Community Foundation has been able to offer additional free places at the High Greave summer camp.

With overwhelming interest, the programme is now fully booked, and the additional funds have allowed the foundation to recruit more staff and accommodate more children, ensuring no one misses out on a fun and educational summer.

In addition to the donation, Veezu has provided each child with a branded water bottle and lunch bag, offering both practical benefits and a memorable keep sake from their camp experience.
